Ten adventurers leave their families and the comforts of modern life to relive the great history of the Klondike Gold Rush. From Skagway, Alaska, to Dawson City in the Yukon, they embark on the ultimate adventure of their lives. Three months of life in extreme conditions, 1100 kilometres of portages over high mountain ranges, 800 kilometres on makeshift river rafts, 5,000 pounds of equipment and Klondike-era supplies to transport. They live in conditions identical to those in 1898. Will these modern-day prospectors have the courage and motivation it takes to repeat the same voyage as the 10,000 French Canadians who were stricken with the “Klondike Fever” a century ago? A legendary feat is achieved once again.
