Les rescapés

Season 1
1964. The highly “dysfunctional” family of Montreal police detective Gérald Boivin is mysteriously transported to the year 2010.

Completely lost in this strange though not so distant future, the Boivins can think of one thing only: how to get back their home in ’64. To do this, they’ll have to find the man who has engineered their time travel for reasons that remain obscure.

What makes it all even harder is that the Boivins will have to question their beliefs, values and identity, as they try to pull together and rebuild the fragile bonds that once upon a time united them.

Les Rescapés is the adventures of a broken family when a journey through time forces them to be close together…for better or for worse.

Season 2
Gérald Boivin will take a new journey through time, which this time takes him to 1980, where he finds out that Chabanel’s plan means nothing less than the end of the world!

Gérald’s mission will be to save his son, Charles, and prevent the Apocalypse.

To help him, he’ll seek the assistance of two police officers, Gina McRae and Rémi Casgrain, and a group known as the “League” that is strongly opposed to Chabanel.

The attractions of the modern world they’re discovering have the effect of making a return to ’64 not quite so urgent for some of the characters. Confrontations can be expected. Monique and Jeanne very clearly see the numerous advantages of “women’s liberation” – but that’s not so easy an adjustment for the men of the family.

This second season will be rich in discoveries and surprises and the Boivin family members will have to fight even harder to stay united and be supportive.
