Since being a producer didn’t work out for ex-Montreal casting magnate Louise Nantel, she is now VP of marketing at DM Cosmétiques, where she reports to Diane Marois. As for “Aktress” Estelle Poliquin, she’s still waiting for her next big role. Sadly, the wait is longer than anticipated and Estelle finds herself – and her furniture – on the street after disputing her rent. She decides to put her fate in Louise’s hands and asks her friend for a place to stay, which is how the two single ladies end up living together in Loulou’s fabulous penthouse apartment. As a team they help each other not to give in to their hearts’ improper impulses. However, that’s easier said than done, especially when their next-door neighbour is a very handsome police officer. But since Pierre prefers the younger Mahée, our leading ladies can focus their time and energy on their careers.

At DM Cosmétiques, Louise works with a team of (sometimes) motivated and (always) competent young professionals. Devoted coordinator François is her greatest ally because he sees her as the female version of himself as far as career aspirations go. But Louise also has to contend with the beautiful Marie-Soleil’s ambitions. And she has to work with ex-husband Patrick Perreault, the ungrateful man who broke her heart 27 years ago when he married her only to get student loans! As for Estelle, she opens her “Academy” which offers workshops to businesses to help strengthen employee relations. She of course quickly finds herself working with DM Cosmétiques and the two friends are once again reunited in the sacred bonds of work. Add to this premise a different storyline each week and you’ve got one very entertaining show!
